8 hours of LIVE instruction over 4 two-hour classes provide the perfect introduction to astrology! We will cover Elements/ Modes/ Polarities as a basis for a richer understanding of the Zodiac Signs. Using your own chart I will guide you through weaving together interpretations of your Big 3 - Sun, Moon and Rising Sign. This block will finish off with some practical tools and understanding of our monthly Lunar Cycle and how to tag into it personally with your natal Moon Phase.

During 8 hours of LIVE instruction over 4 two-hour classes we will uncover Your Other Sign - The Chart Signature. We will investigate the meanings of the Personal, Social and Transpersonal Planets and their unique expression by Sign in your chart, further enhancing this interpretation through Essential Dignities. Finally we will explore how we orient our lives through the compass points of the natal chart, the Four Angles - Asc/Dsc, MC/IC!

8 hours of LIVE instruction over 4 two-hour classes that focus on enhancing interpretation through chart structure. Topics will include House and Flat Wheel associations, how Hemisphere/ Quadrant emphasis and Chart Patterns are reflected in your personality and how to interpret Empty Houses through House Rulers. We will also develop Planet/Sign/House Interpretations and take a look at what Retrograde Planets mean for us!

8 hours of LIVE instruction over 4 two-hour classes complete the Astrology Foundations curriculum. We will look at how two or more planets relate to each other in Aspect considering Type, Orb, A/S and larger Aspect Pattern Configurations. You will also learn how to find and interpret your natal Moon Phase and delve into the push/pull of the past/future by looking at the Moon's Nodes in your chart.

8 hours of LIVE instruction over 4 two-hour classes will focus on honing your foundational skills in preparation for the Canadian Association for Astrological Education - Level 1 Certification Exam. In addition to Participant-Specific Needs we will practice filling out the Standard Chart Form, completing the Keyword / Glyph Flat Wheel and strengthen your Keyword Deliniations for Planet/Sign/House/Aspect Combinations.

The Level 1 Certification Exam is offered through the Canadian Association for Astrological Education. Membership to the CAAE is required to take the exam, along with an exam registration fee. There is no cost from the Manitoba School of Astrology to moderate the exam. Please register with the CAAE here.

Chart Themes & House Focus

8 hours of LIVE instruction over 4 two-hour classes to help you develop your ability to read a chart. In this 1st Block House Cusps/Empty House Rulers will provide interpretation avenues along with Derivative Houses and Intercepted Houses. We'll also discover how to use houses to delineate questions related to Vocation & Relationship and will spend time discussing the uses of various House Systems. 

Aspect Patterns & Nodal Focus

During 8 hours of LIVE instruction over 4 two-hour classes we will practice identifying and interpreting Aspect Patterns. Special emphasis will be given to the Stellium/T-Square/Kite/Grand Trine/Yod/Mystic Rectangle among others.  We will also delineate Aspects to the Angles and their Rulers. This Block will also include an introduction to the Lunar Nodes and their evolutionary signature. 

Standouts & Lesser Known Techniques

8 hours of LIVE instruction over 4 two-hour classes completes the fundamentals of the Intermediate Astrology - Chart Delineation curriculum. We'll explore how to interpret Declinations, Minor Aspects, Retrograde/Stations and Void of Course Moons. This Block will also introduce Asteroids, Fixed Stars and the Galactic Center. Time will be spent honing interpretations for client communication.
